GAF Joins NRCA’s One Voice Initiative, Becomes NRCA Partner Member
The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) has announced that GAF has joined NRCA’s One Voice initiative, upgrading its associate membership to “partner member.”
In early 2017, NRCA launched its One Voice Initiative to unite the roofing industry and speak with one voice about matters critical to the roofing industry’s continued success.
Issues currently affecting the roofing industry include workforce development and certification; advancing the industry’s public policy agenda; building codes and insurance; and increasing professionalism throughout the industry.
“GAF is proud to the join NRCA’s One Voice initiative to increase awareness of the issues affecting the roofing industry, and to drive for sustainable change,” said GAF President Jim Schnepper.

CertainTeed’s Parent Company, Saint-Gobain, Recognized on Human Rights Campaign’s 2018 Corporate Equality Index
Inaugural submission earns Saint-Gobain a score of 90% on national index measuring LGBTQ inclusion efforts
CertainTeed announced today its parent company, Saint-Gobain, has been included on the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC’s) 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking tool that measures companies’ policies and practices relating to LGBTQ workplace equality. This is Saint-Gobain’s first year submitting responses to the CEI, resulting in a score of 90 out of 100 percent.

Andersen Donates $325,000 to Support Disaster Relief Efforts
Product Donation of Windows and Doors Support Rebuilding Efforts
Andersen Corporation and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $325,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Maria, Irma and Harvey.
The Andersen Corporate Foundation announced a $50,000 donation to Americares to support Hurricane Maria humanitarian efforts. The Foundation will be donating $125,000 to the American Red Cross comprised of a $75,000 donation and $50,000 in employee matching grants.
Andersen Corporation is donating $150,000 of windows and doors to help Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties in North Fort Meyers, Florida and Houston Habitat for Humanity with repair and rebuilding efforts.
